Winter in the Sesto Dolomites
Fun in the snow
As soon as Mother Hulda shakes out the first snowflakes, the ski mountains of the 3 Peaks Dolomites are transformed into a white fairytale splendour. The entire ski area includes Helm, Rotwand, Kreuzbergpass, Waldheim, Haunold and the Rienz slopes all the way to Padola.
The Kinigerhof is located directly at the Helm- Sexten valley slope, so you can start right away with your skis or with your snowboard. Cross-country skiers will find a true cross-country paradise in the Hochpustertal Valley and can admire the wonderful landscape. Over 200 km of groomed cross-country trails lead from the snow-covered Fischlein Valley to the Höhlenstein Valley to Cortina.
Apart from the ski slopes, there are winter activities for tobogganists, snowshoe hikers, ski tourers and winter hikers. Horse-drawn sleigh rides into the Fischlein Valley are also offered.
On the Rotwand meadows, children and parents can marvel at the giant snowmen and reindeer.
